Lessons
Our teachers teach in a communicative, interactive, and friendly way. They plan and deliver interesting lessons using relevant and current topics that encourage active and authentic participation from all students.

The maximum class size is 14.

Seven levels of English are available from A1 (Beginners) to C2 (Proficiency), depending on the course.

All teachers, senior teachers and directors of studies are suitably qualified and / or experienced for the role.

Students are asked to complete an online grammar/vocabulary test 2-4 weeks before arrival. On arrival, they take a short speaking and writing test to confirm all aspects of their English level.

Students’ understanding and progress are monitored by the teachers during the week and every Friday, there is a short assessment to make sure students are improving. The results of this assessment are reviewed by the academic management team in case any adjustments are required for the following week.

A digital course attendance certificate, teacher’s report and any awards certificates won by the student are sent to parents and/or their representative by email after completion of the course.
Types of Lesson
Students follow different lessons depending on the course they choose, giving them a focused and relevant learning experience. Each programme has its own curriculum, combining subject content, English language development, and practical skills. This means every student builds confidence and makes clear progress in their chosen area.

Available on all courses except Academics and Footballers.
These English language lessons are designed to improve students’ receptive and productive skills (reading, writing, speaking, listening), extend the scope and range of their vocabulary in both formal and informal contexts and deepen their understanding of grammar to improve spoken and written accuracy.

Available on all courses except Champions and Footballers.
These task-based lessons enable students to work collaboratively to research, discuss and create projects that reflect their knowledge, skills, and personality while developing skills that are essential for success in the 21st century, such as Collaboration, Communication, Creativity, and Critical Thinking.

Each course has a different Focus Lesson that is designed to motivate students and is adapted to the needs and interests of each age group.

Academics
Academic English lessons are designed to help students develop the language skills and academic strategies needed to succeed in English-speaking academic environments such as school or university.

Professionals
On the Professionals course, students choose two electives in addition to their Focus Lesson. This approach allows them to tailor their learning experience based on their individual goals and interests

Citizens / Artists / Academics / Professionals
These lessons offer dedicated preparation and exam practice instead of Core English and Learning & Innovation, or Electives 1 and 2.

These sessions are designed to improve and expand knowledge and understanding of some key elements that affect playing football at an advanced level and competing

These sessions are designed to improve students’ overall fitness, agility and speed to help them play better football.

These lessons enable students to develop their technical skills and abilities and practise advanced match play strategies in their chosen sport.
